Michael P. McBride

Associate

Justice, equity, fairness—each requires someone to stand up for those who need help and to hold the powerful accountable. I am driven to champion my clients’ cause no matter the odds and fight to make them whole. Tenacity and grit define my practice. I refuse to quit until the job is done.

Experience

Mike McBride feels more at home in a courtroom than anywhere else. Having tried more than 30 jury trials to verdict, he has developed deep skills as a trial lawyer. Mike never shies away from an opportunity to advocate on behalf of his clients. At Ciresi Conlin, Mike represents individuals in medical malpractice cases in both state and federal courts. He enjoys digging deep into every file and building a case from the ground up.

A life-long public servant, Mike brings his dedication to making our community better to everything he does. Before joining Ciresi Conlin, Mike served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota, where he prosecuted complex narcotics and violent crimes. He also served for eight years on active duty in the United States Navy, where he both prosecuted and defended sailors, marines, and coast guard personnel before meticulous courts-martial. Showing his unique skillset, Mike was awarded by the Navy as both prosecutor-of-the-year (2019), and defense-counsel-of-the-year (2022). He continues to serve in the Navy reserves.

Mike is a native Minnesotan and enjoys canoeing, biking, and arguing with his family.
